How Its New York: The SongLives series is curated by Irish-born singer/songwriter Susan McKeown, who now calls New York City home. The series began at the Irish Arts Center this spring.

How Its Irish: SongLives is a new series showcasing Ireland’s contemporary songwriters, bringing the richness of the busking tradition of Dublin’s Grafton Street to New York City.

Mark Geary and Ann Scott
Twice nominated in the Best Female category for the Irish Meteor Awards, Ann Scott has developed a reputation as an intense performer and a firebrand songwriter. In the third in the SongLives series, she will pair with Mark Geary, who has enjoyed success in Ireland and New York over the last decade. His songs have been featured on various television shows including One Tree Hill and Bones.
