Starring Judi Dench & Steve Coogan

Based on the 2009 book by Martin Sixsmith,
“The Lost Child of Philomena Lee” – mother
to a boy conceived out of wedlock and given up
for adoption. In following Catholic Church doctrine,
she was forced to sign a contract that wouldn’t allow inquiry into her son’s whereabouts. After starting
a family, years later in England Lee meets
Sixsmith (Coogan) a BBC reporter.
