Poor Mouth are delighted to present Poor Mouth Theatre Company’s world premiere of Dublin playwright Brendan Connellan’s “Python”, as part of this year’s 1st Irish Theatre Festival. “Python” is a dark comedy thriller set in modern day Ireland about a college professor who gets mixed up with high level drug dealers with surprising results. Poor Mouth, who won the audience award for best play in 2010 for “Guy Walks Into a Bar”, are excited to be bringing the 1st Irish Theatre Festival to the Bronx for the first time! “Python” features five top notch Irish-born actors based here in New York: Paul Nugent, Mark Byrne, David O’Hara, Laurence Lowry, and Conor McManus.
