Danú & Goitse

Take a musical tour of the Emerald Isle from west to east with two of the nation’s leading traditional Irish ensembles. The concert culminates in a collaborative performance featuring both groups playing together for the first time in the United States, creating an Irish “big band” experience, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

Hailing from counties Waterford, Dublin, Donegal and Cork, Danú is known for its high-energy performances and a glorious mix of ancient Irish music and new repertoire. Named Live Ireland’s “Traditional Group of the Year”, Goitse have become a leader of the new generation of traditional Irish ensembles. This magical night will bring both groups together on one stage in a perfect celebration of Irish culture and heritage.
