Dick Farrelly – A Quiet Man / Radio Documentary
Back in 1949, Irish composer Dick Farrelly wrote the song, The Isle of Innisfree. Bing Crosby recorded a world-wide hit with it and its melody was later used by John Ford in his iconic film, The Quiet Man.
The radio documentary will be aired this Friday, July 10th at 7pm (2pm USA time) on RTÉ Lyric FM.
