My Ireland, Our Identity: A Theater Exchange Across the Atlantic

It will take place in 2 sessions on Wednesday evenings in both Dublin and New York City on May 30 and June 6, 2018.
In the first session, groups will independently create work exploring the question through games, theatre exercises, group dialogue, and reflection. The work created will then be exchanged with the international partner group.
In the second session, groups will look at their international partners’ work and identify common themes between the two. The groups will then explore these similarities further to create a final piece that attempts to answer the central question.
Outlandish Theater Platform will facilitate the Dublin-based sessions and Irish Arts Center’s Jessie Reilly will facilitate the New York City session.
