Dubbed “Ireland’s Premier Young Tenor” by the Irish American News, Paul Byrom will perform in concert at Rory Dolan’s, 890 McLean Ave, Yonkers, NY, on Friday, February 12th. The concert starts at 8pm, doors open at 7:30pm. Tickets are $30 and include a complimentary Meet & Greet with Paul Byrom at the merchandise table after the show. Byrom is delighted to return to American audiences and is looking forward to performing at Rory Dolan’s. “It’s a pleasure to be returning to New York, and I am excited to bring The Great Irish Songbook to Yonkers! It is sure to appeal to all and conjure many emotions!” In the show Paul will sing songs written by some of Ireland’s finest songwriters, going as far back as THOMAS MOORE and PERCY FRENCH, to modern day Ireland’s PHIL COULTER, RALPH McTELL, BRENDAN GRAHAM, JIMMY McCARTHY, VAN MORRISON, PAUL BRADY, and many, many more. This wide and varied showcase of Irish music will be sure to please with songs such as, “Courtin’ In The Kitchen,” “Macushla,” “Just A Song At Twilight,” “The Town I Loved So Well,” “Dublin In The Rare Old Times”, “The Island”, along with several others, including the greatest of them all, “Danny Boy”. A true tribute to Ireland’s greatest songs and songwriters, The Great Irish Songbook is simply not to be missed.
As the lead tenor in the highly successful male vocal ensemble Celtic Thunder, Paul Byrom and his original group mates sold over 500,000 albums. Byrom has gone on to reach massive success as a solo artist when his album, This Is the Moment, hit #1 on the Billboard World Music and Amazon Charts and the complimenting Public Television special aired on television stations nationwide.
