A husband and wife team, Siusan O’Rourke & Zig Zeitler have performed internationally for a decade and in 2012, they were nominated by the Irish Music Association for “Top Duo”. A balladeer with a rich, textured alto voice and a quick wit, Siusan has a deep knowledge of Irish music and culture. Zig’s versatility is renowned. He plays guitar, banjo, fiddle, harmonica and the Irish bouzouki, and has recorded 18 CD’s. Siusan is a cancer survivor and she and Zig are tireless advocates and fundraisers for cancer research. Suisan and Zig hail from Saginaw, Michigan where they run The White Crow Music Conservatory.
The New York Irish Center’s live music program has hosted many great Irish artists including; Luka Bloom, Sephira, Tara O’Grady, Susan McKeown, Jamesons Revenge, Michael Brunnock and many many more.
